This notice explains what Help A Trade ("we") does with the details you give us.

What we collect

When you fill in the form on this site we receive your name, phone number, trade, town or area, and anything you write in the message box. If you email, ring or WhatsApp us, we receive your email address or phone number and what you tell us.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to do the work you ask for. We don't sell them or use them for unrelated marketing. Our lawful bases are taking steps you ask for before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries.

Where it is kept

Netlify hosts this website and handles the form, then passes your message to our email, which Google provides. Both companies may store data outside the UK, under safeguards that UK data protection law recognises. If you message us on WhatsApp, the message is carried by WhatsApp, which Meta owns.

How long we keep it

If you don't become a customer, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you do, we keep what we need to do the work and for our accounts.

Cookies

This site doesn't set cookies or use any tracking. If that changes, we'll update this notice and ask before setting anything that isn't essential.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, have them corrected or have them deleted. Email faz@helpatrade.com.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
